The Metropolitan United Church is called 'the downtown church for a diverse city,' a progressive church that happens to be the largest in downtown Toronto.Situated on Trinity Square, the Anglican church of the Holy Trinity was built in 1847 by Henry Bowyer Lane in a neogothic style.The church was built in 1867 and was also designed by architect Arthur W. Holmes in the Romanesque Revival style.It's located at 6th Street NW between Main St., Gannett Avenue West, Northgate Ave East northwest Varsity School District.
