Spotifys artificial intelligence is constantly being improved to collect as much audio data as possible, perform comparative analyses with other users, and use the results to suggest new music. Music production tools that allow users to create beats and write lyrics that have little or no musical experience have been trained to analyze millions of songs. Given that I work in the Big Data industry, it is only natural that this thought should lead me to question the nature of humankind and music itself and how it will be changed in the years to come by artificial intelligence . AMPER is developed by a team of professional musicians and technologists and is the first artificial intelligence to compose and produce a complete music album.
According to musicologists and technologists CJ Carr and Zack Zukowski who have been experimenting with artificial intelligence to create recognizable music in different music genres for years, the algorithm has produced some decent music in the metal music genre but it did not need corrections so they decided to let the AI try to compose a track live on YouTube. The creative process involved giving information such as song length, tempo, and key to YouTube personality Taryn Southern and allowing a program called Amper, an open-source AI music composer and producer, to do the actual composing and production of the songs, with Southern rearranging the various parts Amper provided to create a more structured one. Pop artists say they experimented with AI two years ago and have been using Amper as software to create artificial intelligence ever since.
To enable soundtracks produced by artificial intelligence music engines and platforms, users can create music from scratch, and these soundtracks can be used to produce variations on existing songs.
