Three boat ramps at Long Branch State Park offer access to Long Branch Lake, which is vast and scenic. Long Branch Park, located on the north end of Lake Onondaga Park, is made up of all three ramps -- plus a 100-foot, skimpier hill. Long Branch offers summertime visitors a number of large beaches, nearby tennis and golf facilities, and Monmouth Raceway Park.
Long Branch is the site of Seven Presidents Beachfront Park, named after a President. In the late 1800s, Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park was home to the reservation, which was built by Long Branch businessman Nate Salsbury to house his Buffalo Bill Wild West show. In summer, Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park is a beautiful place for swimming, sunning, and surfing. More than a pure spot to enjoy some sunshine, the park is a protected environmental habitat.
From April 1 through Oct. 31, pets are not allowed at Seven Presidents Beachfront Park; from Nov. 1 through March 31, pets are allowed at the entire park, including on the beach, provided they are leashed at all times. Campers are prohibited from leaving boat trailers in day-use parking areas.
This is the second time that homecoming games have been delayed in Monmouth County due to threats to communities - the game between Asbury Park and Keansburg was cancelled this past weekend. The Monmouth County Prosecutors Office is asking the publics assistance as it investigates three shootings back-to-back in Long Branch, N.J. Long Branch, N.J. New Jersey. Long Branch - Police are investigating in one New Jersey Township that included three shootings within just over nine hours.
On Monday, three shootings were reported in the span of nine hours in Long Branch and nearby West Long Branch, which are believed to be connected, acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond C. Santiago told Townsquare Medias New Jersey 101.5. News 12 NJ was the first to report on a fourth shooting, after Public Safety Director William Broughton mentioned it at Wednesdays City Council meeting. Swendeman did not reveal what connected the shootings, nor did she say if any gang activity was involved. Two of the three men who left the bar were taken to Monmouth Medical Center by a private car, while the third was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

Broadway Centre is planned to provide retail shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, and two performing arts theaters, along with 500 new apartments, located on top of a 1500-car parking garage.
In addition, all three structures will have their electrical infrastructure upgraded, and the parking garages improved. Many of the properties, as well as some older historical shelters , are still standing.

With the establishment of the textile and electronics industries, and the 1933 founding at West Long Branch of Monmouth College , Long Branch became a year-round, year-round, residential town.
