Click the "Create a Server" button to create a new server.
Select your new server on the left and then click the drop-down arrow next to its name to see options for inviting friends, changing server settings, creating channels, and more.
If you want only to add a few people to the channel, it's best to make a new role for that channel, and then add users to that role.

There is a simple setup process that requires you to invite MEE6 to join the announcement channel, set up a role for it, and enable private messages for new users. Normally, I advise that announcing new members before the announcement can deter people from joining the station, but the announcement channels are different. You could create roles for the Mee6 bot and let it play the essential messages you want to communicate before people join and add additional information as you go.
You can write as many handy new messages as you can and from there Gogo, but you will probably have to rewrite them in MEE6.

If you want to give your community an exclusive place to interact, use Discord itself to stream your voice channel to up to 10 other viewers on your server. Go Live is Discord's latest streaming feature, which allows for the creation of separate, inviting channels - only those that could be made for, say, paying subscribers.
Go to Discord and scroll to the bottom of the server list, you will see a plus icon, and clicking on it will give you the opportunity to start your own server. Once you have all of the players in your channel who have started your game, you will see if they are interested in streaming.
Once you have set up your server, you have a single text and voice channel and can stream.
