The American version of Ghosts follows Sam and Jay , a newlywed couple from New York who move to the ramshackle but stylish Woodstone mansion in upstate New York after Sam inherits it from a long-lost relative. The primary storyline in Season 1 follows and Jay as Jay attempts to turn Woodstone into a bed-and-breakfast while struggling with Sams newfound abilities to see ghosts.
As Jays complications and motivations, charismatic nature, and that have been fully established through season 1, a wide range of new stories can be expected to emerge throughout Season 1, with the outside world beginning to settle in at the Woodstone B & B.
