Fursuits are heavily associated with the furry fandom by the general public, despite the fact that only 15 percent of its members own a fursuit, mainly due to their cost being prohibitively high.Fursuits are usually worn to furry conventions such as Midwest FurFest and Anthrocon.Some fursuits of existing characters are made for the purposes of cosplay and are worn to anime or gaming conventions.The most popular furfests on this list were in 2007. The show was first aired at Anime Expo 2011 where they featured an uncanonized character named Camilla the protagonist. In 2012 it had been shown off but not seen again.1In 2015 FurryCon held two events one hosted both over 3 million attendees23. This year there is also another event sponsored entirely through Fanfiction, which has become more successful since 2013 thanks largely because people have submitted submissions via social media platforms like Facebook,4, Tumblr and Twitter all within 24 hours before starting out!
