With WALL-E's big eyes and smooth plastic body, Robin looks like a child-sized animated Pixar character designed to interact with pediatric patients to relieve their anxiety and loneliness in the hospital. The concert was held at the famous Ashmolean Museum at Oxford University as part of an exhibition commemorating the 700th anniversary of Dante’s death. Technicians will dub Robin and monitor the robot's movements and expressions as he "learns" to respond to the needs of children and families. The artificial intelligence system was developed by Expper Technologies, a start-up company backed by Silicon Valley in Yerevan, Armenia.
