The vibrant, breathing heart of CBeebies Land is the event where you can meet and interact with some of the CBees "biggest stars, including Duggee, Bing and Night Garden. You can also use the Storytime app and enjoy the stories with the Playtime Island app. When you're online, you can also play CBEEbies games on your phone or tablet using our Storytime apps. The only place we can meet and play with you is CBeebies Land, and that's where I am.
CBeebies plug-ins are small computer programs that help you to watch, play and record games, videos and sound on the CBEEbies website. All plugs required on our website can be downloaded and used free of charge and are available for download from the website or in our app.
As described in the licence, the broadcaster's mission is to provide a range of programmes produced in the UK for children, young people and young adults to educate and entertain the BBC's young audiences. CBBC currently reaches around 1.5 million viewers a day in the UK and more than 2 million worldwide. It is aimed at children aged 2 to 6, while its sister channel CBBBC is aimed at viewers aged 6 to 14.
According to the BBC, 2.1 million children watch BBC1 and BBC2 each week, but they don't watch CBeebies or CBBC. The BBC missed the chance to make one of the most popular children's shows of all time, Peppa Pig, when an animator tried to introduce an early cartoon to company executives, only to discover it wasn't even on TV at the time. It's a very special programme and one that's strictly rationed, so you have friends growing up watching what they want, lots of it.
In March 2013, CBeebies was run by the British Forces Broadcasting Service, which shares a channel with BFBS. In October 2014 it was split from Alba and became its own radio station. CBEEbies Radio will continue as a BBC Sounds channel, which will be broadcast from 6 to 22 o'clock, and in the UK it is part of the BBC children's radio programme - alongside BBC Radio 4 and BBC2. It is also available in Ireland, but not in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland or Wales.
Only 20% of the original programmes are produced in the UK, many by the BBC, but programmes broadcast by British broadcasters have received a number of awards over the years. CBeebies, as more and more people outside the UK have started to see it abroad, there is an international website, www.cbeebies.com, which is growing steadily and providing content you may have missed.
The CBeebies website coincides with the launch of the UK channel in February 2002 and presents a variety of activities around CBeebies programmes, past and present, with games, songs and print products - which can be seen in almost every show. A number of presenters are filling in the gaps in the CBeesbies shows by speaking directly to children, directing activities on the topic on their website, showing birthday cards to viewers, presenting and hosting shows. The connection between the programs and the CBebies is achieved by the moderator interacting with children. Often this is contained within the show itself, which offers viewers a learning opportunity by letting them play.
There are many programmes which unfortunately have restrictions on broadcasting rights which do not allow them to show their content outside the UK. But don't worry, the stories are still there and still appear on the relevant page, and don't forget, we still love them! As with our sister channel CBBC, all links will be recorded and broadcast live on CBeebies.com.

At CBebies Land Hotel, the fun is endless - unique and exclusive family entertainment with stories, time with friends and family and the opportunity to meet and play with your toddler's favorite characters and help them with their important work. Next to the hotel, the fun will not end at CBeeside Land, where stories and time games with CBerbies games are offered, as well as a variety of interactive activities and activities for children and families.
CBeebies Land houses 14 different rides and attractions, each themed around a little person's favourite show or cartoon. There is also a real In Love gift shop stocked with tons of CBeebie goods and puzzles for you to do in the park itself, as well as tons of toys and toys for your little ones.
A report published today highlighted the strength of the BBC's children's department and found that both CBBC and CBeebies perform well and are popular with children and parents alike. Anyone who works in children's television, and especially those whose children are big fans of Cbeebies, would do well to check out their website and Facebook page. For those who are not at Alton Towers or who are dealing with small children themselves, I would highly recommend them.
