In November 2018, Swift signed a new multi-album deal with Big Machine Records, Universal Music Group's distributor in the US, and all of her subsequent releases will be promoted through Republic Records. In August 2010 Swift released the lead single "Mines" from her third studio album, Speak Now. Swift toured in 2020 to celebrate her critically acclaimed Lovers album, Lovers Fest West and Lovers Festival East, with two nights in the stadium stands.
The American singer-songwriter signed with Big Machine Records at the age of 15 and released her debut album in October 2006. In Swift 2015, she stared down Apple and refused to publish her hit album from 1989 on Apple's nascent streaming music service, after the company stated that it would not pay artists during its initial launch. The company later changed its policy, but the move was a seismic example of how a single artist could overthrow the company's power. The hit single "I Am Mine," with which she won two Grammys, played a major role in the success of her third album Speak Nows, not only in the country charts, but also on pop radio.
Without her, Swift would not have been the superstar who took to the stage in Los Angeles a few days later to accept the Grammy for Album of the Year Award, the first woman to win the award.
