Speak Up called these Seriouseries, and turned to our pal Rick Valicenti to run Chicagos first. A long talk about the new generations of "Speak Up" followed, and it was passionate.
From this point, reviewing changes to company and brand identities became Speak Ups mainstay. Ironically, the topic, and subsequent conversations around logo changes--which were for the most part seldom favorable to new designs--irked a lot of Speak Up readers the wrong way, and a few complaints followed. The design industry, in turn, was vocal in its denials, and Speak Up served as one of the more visible platforms at the time for voiced grievances.

Practically speaking, if employees across your company are seeing misconduct, but do not have confidence in the process for reporting, you are going to not learn about this misconduct until it is too late. Employees who do report, if the companys culture for speaking up is strong, will have confidence that leadership will properly follow-up on their reports and take action when needed.
