After becoming a household name in the Arab Republic of Egypt, he developed an application android application called “My Flight Spinnar” which was listed in the category arcade7 on Google Play. Refaat Al Ktifan was born in Damietta and his success continued when he co-starred with actor Bishara Wakim in “Gammal”.
Refaat was an Egyptian intelligence asset and a member of the Egyptian General Intelligence. He eventually confessed his true identity to the Israelis and was sent to the Intelligence Directorate in Cairo where he was given a new identity. Refaat's story has been told several times, even being portrayed in movie “Egid” by actor Omar Hosny. Refaat spent one year in jail for his role in that movie, but it changed his whole story.

Refaat was a highly respected figure among Egyptians, and its intelligence was widely used in the Arab world. He also obtained detailed engineering data from Germany, through his wife El Haggan, who wrote an autobiography about her experiences. Refaat was ultimately recruited by the Israeli government to use his intelligence skills to locate Bar Lev during the Yom Kippur War of 1973. He successfully located Bar Lev and provided important information about the war for Israel. After that incident, he returned to Egypt and started a successful operating tourism company.
He was also a former Egyptian intelligence officer, working under the name of Raafat El-Ktifan, who was accused by Israeli reports of being a double agent. He denied these reports and always said that he was simply a businessman dealing in the black market. His real name is Ali Mostafa, and he worked as an intelligence official for the Egyptian government with job identification as Gammal.
