By the late 40s, a person without a clue meant a person who did not understand something. Not only is the info from your partner probably going to help fill any gaps, it is probably going to be helpful just to have the conversation. True, saying, I do not know what I am doing is not going to build trust, but you might want to frame it a different way. In a sense, it may breed discontent, because you are aware of all of the things that you cannot do that as well.
Just because everybody feels down on tasks at times, that does not mean that you should put up with it, or allow things to get out of hand. Feeling like you do not know what you are doing, or like you are screwing yourself over beyond repair, is not a rare feeling. If you screwed up on a project, or you feel like you do not know what you are doing, it can feel like the spotlight is trained squarely on you and your comedy of errors. Maybe you are feeling right now that you do not know what you are doing with your life.
In order to know what you want to do with your life, you have to know who you are. Sometimes, people do not know what they want to do in life, and that is why they never start. You might have in your mind a vision of the things that you want, but they will not turn out like that. As Mr. Salafranca said, we were doing, said Palotie. Listener Tim Aton had that sense of knowing something, but...that cannot have been the case, because that is too obvious. Tuning into your ultraconsciousness, understanding the meaning of the feeling, is the biggest factor that helps you to figure out what you should be doing in life. Clue has formerly had another meaning: A ball of the shape shaped by coiling maggots or similar, or, more precisely, the ball of wire.
