Amy Rose's hammer wielding love interest is one of the most iconic characters in the Sonic Hedgehog series and her name has become synonymous with flower themed names such as Daisy, Violetta, Posie and more. As they fight, they are reminded of how much they care for each other, and eventually decide to go caroling together instead.
Amy Rose, sporting her trademark large hammer, leads the way, as Ramona Flowers follows closely behind. They reach a street corner and Amy Rose knocks on doors with her Piko Piko Hammer, singing various sonics. As they round the corner, the large swing of Amy's hammer dissipates the silence of the night.
Sonic and Tails, lost in the Sonic Lost World, notice Amy Rose for the first time. She inquires about their wellbeing and Sonic is quick to explain their predicament. Being a hedgehog of the world, Amy Rose offers her help in any way she can. The trio decides to go caroling on the island as a meaningful way to pass the time while they search for a way out of this lost world. With Amy leading the tune and Sonic providing harmony while playing his guitar, Tails happily stays on sidelines bouncing around with joy.
At such a young age of twelve, Amy Rose has already made a name for herself with her super speeds and sheer determination. She is part of Freedom Fighters, a group formed to fight against the evil Dr. Robotnik and his robot army. Amy was determined to show the world what she was capable of and so she started traveling around the world in search of adventure and opportunities. Meanwhile, her cousin Amy Fyleman had set out on an ambition of her own - to become a schoolteacher in Nottingham.
However, it was her writing that really made a mark on the world. By the early 1930s, Amy Rose Fyleman had become one of the most successful children's writers of her generation, having published multiple verse collections and edited a children's magazine called 'Merry Go Round'. She even wrote her own drama entitled 'Man, Woman and Child' which became a popular story for recital on the radio. Amy Rose Fyleman's work was known for its skillful use of language; she was an excellent linguist and translated books by other authors such as Danish writer Karin Michaelis into English, often anglicising their spelling to make them more accessible to an English-speaking audience.
Her most famous work was 'Amy Rose Goes Caroling', a collection of carols and fairy folk songs which she gathered from around the world. The collection featured traditional carols such as 'Adeste Fidelis' and 'Il Est Ne, le Divin Enfant', a French carol tune, alongside hymns from the Anglican Hymnal and songs from the Hutterian Brotherhoods. It was first published in 1902 and was an instant success among readers both young and old. One of Fyleman’s most beloved poems from the collection is ‘Lift Your Hidden Faces’ which was written to commemorate 6 March, a special day for English writer Amy Fyleman who wrote extensively about children and fairy folk.
‘Amy Rose Goes Caroling’ is a sonic and grinch adaption of this poem, featuring two Marley brothers, Thomas and Robert Holmes, who bring their own unique style to the performance. The two favourite versions of the song are the muppet christmas and Jim Carrey’s version in the film 'The Christmas Carol'. The song features characters from other franchises such as Sonic and The Grinch, as well as love songs.
Amy Rose Goes Caroling focuses on the joan scovics family kids, who are trying to raise funds to buy a house for their family. To do this, they started a contest: whoever builds the most impressive gingerbread house kit wins. Merry mice, our old friend Spyro and other characters are helping the kids furnish peace and joy in the upcoming adventure. But they need help from more people.
